Houston Underground, is the nation's largest music competition of its kind. Join us as we celebrate 16 years of music making with live performances by the best young saxophonists in the country. This event is open to the public.

About the event
Houston Undeground is a full day event showcasing the nation's best young saxophonists ages 11-18. Participants will be competiting for cash prizes and sponsor items in three different categories: Soloist, High School Quartet, and Junior High Quartet. Houston Underground also hosts an exhibit room with over a dozen of the nations leadig music companies and collegiate organizations. The competition day ends with a Winner's Concert (2023 Winners) and an awards ceremony. We hope to see you there!
